Nominating Committee of Carrollwood Players Mission Statement

The Nominating Committee of Carrollwood Players' purpose is to find, recruit and select a number of individuals as possible candidates for the Board of Directors. We will accept applications and use an online questionnaire and in-person interview to narrow the field of candidates for our voting membership. When choosing candidates, we will focus on Carrollwood Players' needs and vision and how each prospective candidate's skills would assist in the accomplishment of those. Should a member of the committee feel that a personal relationship prevents them from being objective regarding a candidate, the member will remove themselves from lobbying, discussion or voting regarding that individual. All decisions of the Nominating Committee will be presented to the current Board of Directors for final approval before the membership vote.
